Peacocks

I have this thing about peacocks, love the colours, the way they're showy and the plumage of their tails.

I drew a picture of one late one evening as it just popped into my head, and have now stitched it up with DMC I had lying around.  I think it turned out pretty well.

Birdcage inspirations

Have had an idea for a new stitch/crosstich idea, and have been looking at birdcages for some inspiration.

I have stumbled across this umbrella which is to die for and I would love to have, but cant find in Aus, but would be determined to have even shipping costs from England.  A Lulu Guinness Bird in a cage Birdcage Umbrella.  OHHHH....

Made It!

My Blue Bower

I am thinking about a blog or shop at markets selling a varied array of items from Australian handmade designers to bring them to my local community.  "The Blue Bower" (C) would be my name as bower birds are an ecclectic hoarder,and think this would be a perfect name.

My Day

Still trying to sort out this blogging stuff, will get there eventually.

Had a thought about a new little kids skirt, will have to do a mock up and see how it turns out.

Need to finish some bags, but my nose feels like an elephant with a coconut stuck up it's trunk - not good at all!

I was able to call about a Training course I am looking at doing, to help me get into my Uni course of choice next year.  It should be interesting, and at least it is close to home!

My first day

Into the world of Blogging, and Etsy, and selling of my creations.  It will be interesting to see if I will discover anything new about myself,which is the aim of this little experiment, to see if a leopard can change it's spots, and if I can make a little bit of a change in my life.  No more sitting back and letting everything come to me, I need to get out there and look for opportunities!  Live Life!  So lets start.........
